Is the cost per person, or per vehicle?

A.

The cost to attend is per vehicle. You will require 1 ticket for 1 vehicle.

Q.

When should I arrive?

A.

Please ensure you are arriving a few minutes BEFORE your purchased time slot (i.e. if you have purchased a time slot from 7:30pm-8:00pm, you will need to arrive a few minutes BEFORE 7:30pm).

Is this experience covid-safe and secure?

A.

Yes, we are following all Ontario Health guidelines to ensure a safe and contactless experience.

Q.

What can I expect from the Polar Drive-Through experience?

A.

Arrive for your selected time slot (we encourage guests to arrive a few minutes early) and enjoy our holiday music on your own radio once you are inside the Polar venue. The multi level route twists you through 6 levels of elaborate decor and themes. And, of course, no holiday experience is complete without Santa!

Safety is our top priority and all guests are be required to stay in their vehicles at all times. We ask that you try to avoid stopping to keep the flow of traffic moving.

How are you working towards offsetting your carbon footprint?

A.

We have implemented several processes and initiatives to help us offset our carbon footprint such as: Use of upcycled, recycled, and reusable materials. Scheduled times to avoid idle times while cars wait. Creating an efficient flow through the experience to avoid bottlenecks and excessive idle times. We will also be planting trees to help offset our carbon footprint for the event.

Can I change my time slot after I have purchased my ticket?

A.

Please note that once your tickets are purchased you will not be able to change your time slot, please ensure you are choosing the correct time slot.

How long is the event?

A.

The experience is just under 1 km and duration depends on traffic flow.

Is this a kid-friendly environment?

A.

YES! Our drive-through is intended for all ages and has something for everyone.

Q.

What is the limit of passengers per car and ticket?

A.

The limit of guests per car depends on your car’s maximum legal capacity. We are only charging per car not per guest to ensure that guests can enjoy a cost effective holiday experience.

What happens if I arrive late?

A.

We ask everyone to come at their scheduled time or even a few minutes early as we will have a holding area for cars. Latecomers may not be admitted. In special circumstances, we may be able to help reschedule your ticket to another session time that has not already sold out.

Can the experience be done without a car?

A.

No, you must be in a vehicle to enjoy this experience.

Q.

Can I coordinate my booking with another car?

A.

Yes, you can book at the same time as the other car. Please ensure you arrive together so that your cars are next to each other in the line up. If you arrive at different times we cannot guarantee you will be next to the other vehicle.

Are there any types of vehicles that are not permitted in this experience?

A.

The garage is limited to a height of 7’2 for all vehicles. Most cars are able to fit into this including compact SUVs and minivans. We will not be able to accept extended SUVs or Cargo vans.

Will there be strobe lights?

A.

No, there will be safe lighting effects.

Q.

Can I purchase tickets at the door?

A.

No you cannot. This drive-through is scheduled to avoid long wait times for our guests. You can easily purchase tickets online for your preferred visit time. We kindly ask only those with prepaid tickets to come to the door.

Do I need to print my ticket?

A.

No, ticket validation can be scanned from your mobile phone and we recommend not printing to save paper.

Can I purchase my tickets with cash?

A.

No, we will not be accepting cash.

What if I have any questions about accessibility / special accommodations?

A.

We are happy to assist in answering any questions you might have.

What happens if I need assistance or want to make an emergency exit mid show?

A.

You will need to put your hazard lights on to get the attention of our staff. They will approach your vehicle and help guide you out.

Will restrooms be available on site?

A.

No, please ensure everyone uses the washroom before attending the experience.

What happens if it rains?

A.

Since guests are in their cars at all times and the experience is protected from weather elements, this event happens rain or shine!

Will there be any interactions with performers?

A.

Our drive-thru event is designed for safe holiday experience so there will be no interaction with performers. We will have a live Santa that will be sitting in one of the photo opportunities waving to the cars.
